The A POD is a symbiosis of architecture and art with a simple and elegant form. The meticulous use of natural light, excellent materials, and refined details gives a luxurious feeling and beauty with a rigorous functionality inspired by the Scandinavian culture.

The two windows in the A POD , one facing up to the sky for inspiration and one towards the front to stare at the landscape and the reality, emphasise that humans need two kinds of visions; the new we can dream about and the practical here-and-now and the new dreams to come.

The nature has its own pace. With the circular rotation system you experience time differently; following the rhythm of the sun and moon in a space infused with nature to celebrate and appreciate the circle of life that connects all living things.The A POD is so in tune with nature that you forget it was even built by man.

TRANSFORMABLE

Like bodies grow and ADAPT over time to nature and circumstances... we believe that the same idea/design should scale up and down, and be used in several sizes and functions.

And... why can´t the same Architectural object be TRANSFORMED, adapted to the specific location, and have its form CUSTOMISED by the user seasonally?

A POD, MILLIONS OF UNIQUE COMBINATIONS...

Customise the composition of your favorite A POD... and change it

whenever you want... millions of unique combinations are possible.

Wood is our premium material of choice, but several others are available according to the specific location and the client's preferences.

Use the same detachable piece to create several configurations according to the season´s needs. For example, acting as a balcony cover in winter, or rotate it 180º in summer to become a terrace.

KINETIC

It has been discovered long ago that the Earth is round and our planet moves, both by ROTATION (spinning around its axis) and by REVOLUTION (orbiting around the sun).

We also know that as ourselves, Nature and wildlife are in constant change and movement (and that sometimes we change our minds), so why does most Architecture have to be static, why can´t it be flexible enough to allow it to change what your windows are framing if the user wishes so to follow some of the earth movements?

Rotate the object 360° towards your favourite view or solar orientation, adjusting it manually or remotely adjustable via an App on your phone... Matching your mood...any time of the day and night.

Go to sleep watching the sunset, let the A POD do its magic overnight, and wake up facing the sunrise through the same window.

MOBILE

Why do buildings always have to be in the same place? Why can't we just carry our homes around the world and place them elsewhere?

5 m2 (XXS), 15m2 (XS)... Take it with you wherever you want and put it in your favourite places...and then, move it again.

The FORM can be changed seasonably, with ROTATION 360º to frame all the views, and TRANSPORTABILITY (rigorously built and tested in a workshop, transported in one or several pieces, and assembled on-site in a few hours).
